“River” is a 2022 Welsh D colt, bred by Romac Welsh Cobs in Queensland and later acquired from the esteemed Avaluen Welsh Cobs. He epitomizes the true Welsh Section D type, boasting substantial bone, a classic pony character, powerful hindquarters, and striking movement that captures attention.

River’s future at Ballanee is incredibly bright, with his exceptional bloodlines tracing back to some of the most notable imported Welsh stallions, including Gwynfaes Madoc (IMP), Gwynfaes Culhwch (IMP), Redwood Derw (IMP), and Hendrewen Aba Express (IMP). His sire, Rowen James Dean, is out of the beautiful imported mare Penstrumbly Blue Jean Baby (IMP).
